CUPE

The Canadian Union of Public Employees (CUPE) is Canada’s largest union, representing more than half a million workers. CUPE is a democratic union in which the members make the decisions and set the policies.
           
Through the process of collective negotiations CUPE has a solid record of advancing the social, economic and general welfare of active and retired employees. CUPE is also active in promoting peace and freedom in the world, as well as promoting the creation of sustainable communities and jobs.
           
CUPE 3905 represents the graduate and undergraduate assistants at Lakehead University.
As collective action is an essential ingredient for positive change, CUPE 3905 is active in educating and encouraging its members to get involved in the Thunder Bay community.
